I love my food, and I know that feeding my face can make it look better too; I'm not the only one, this months Gorgeous Girl looks as good as her diet and she shares the love in her blog Lucid Nutrition. This months Gorgeous Treat is a little off my most essential skin enhancing, hormone balancing ant-ageing supplement and if that is not enough just read what Dr Keith Black - WIE's man of the year has to say about it's brain boosting power. My Lust of the Month is a green super food that gives me a full spectrum of nutirents and vegetable protein in just a teaspoon a day.
Autumn reminds me that the earth provides us with what we need most. I am trying to eat seasonally, embracing sweet potatoes, roasting my beets and steaming my kale. Eating locally and seaonally makes all kinds of sense for all the obvious reasons but it is pretty basic when you think about it - if the food you eat thirves in the environment you live in then so will you!
Something that changes with the seasons is my skin - my moisture level drops with the mercury and I definitely need an extra boost of moisture. I'll do a lot to keep my skin supple and one of my new favourite body lotions is Body Therapy by PCA it is seriously active with a healthy dose of alpha hydroxy acid so use at night or protect your skin with an SPF of 15 or above in the daytime.
For a super lux alternative try the ultra smoothing, skin renewing Revive Body Cream. It increases cell turnover as it moisturizes - banishing dry patches, increasing elasticity and diminishing stretch marks leaving you feeling all brand new in just couple of weeks. It's not cheap but you are worth it!
