Autumn reminds me that the earth provides us with what we need most. I am trying to eat seasonally, embracing sweet potatoes, roasting my beets and steaming my kale. Eating locally and seaonally makes all kinds of sense for all the obvious reasons but it is pretty basic when you think about it - if the food you eat thirves in the environment you live in then so will you!
